This overland tour links Sumatra's rainforest with its most spectacular landscape. After trekking for orangutans in Bukit Lawang, you travel south — pausing at the dramatic Sipiso-piso waterfall — to Lake Toba, the world's largest crater lake.

On Samosir Island you'll discover Batak culture, unspoilt scenery and a completely different side of North Sumatra.
