Overview
The one-day trek is our most popular short option for travellers who want to go deeper than a village walk. After a morning pickup you'll spend five to six hours following jungle trails through Gunung Leuser National Park.
It's a genuine rainforest day — steep in places, rewarding throughout — with a fresh lunch served in the forest before you head back in the afternoon.
Highlights
- Around 5–6 hours of guided trekking
- Strong chances of seeing wild orangutans and several monkey species
- Fresh fruit and enjoy lunch in the jungle
- Traditional tube rafting back to the village
