Who we are

We're a team of ethical, fully-licensed jungle trek guides taking visitors on memorable adventures in Bukit Lawang, North Sumatra. Join us to explore the rainforest and spot wild orangutans with guides who grew up right here.

Every one of our guides has more than 16 years of experience and has completed the intensive three-month training required by the Indonesian Guide Association (HPI). That certification is essential — but beyond it, we believe guides should hold strong ethics and real ecological awareness.

How we work

We keep groups small, tread lightly, and put the welfare of the orangutans and the forest first. Because we live here, we know the trails, the rivers and the wildlife intimately — which means safer, richer and more responsible trips for you.
